This Pioneer DMH-WC6600NEX MultiMedia Receiver with 9 WVGA Touchscreen allows you to either mount the screen right in front of the head unit using a vehicle's Metra or Scosche installation kit - as I did, or you can remote mount the box and just mount the screen in your dash. The last photo gives you an idea how long the cable is from box to screen. That was more than enough for my install.
